It gives us great pleasure to announce the inaugural lecture in the 2018 series will be by Phil Coffey from Coffey Architecture.
Phil is an award winning architect and newly appointed BDP Online columnist. Phil founded Coffey Architects in 2005 and has built a strong reputation for designing beautifully crafted, intelligent buildings that add creative value to their clients’ projects. Whether masterplans or housing, commercial or cultural buildings, they choreograph strategic objectives, budgets, deadlines and delivery together to create great results. They have a growing team of talented and dedicated architects who share a culture of excellence. Their projects have been recognised with a clutch of awards, including being shortlisted for the RIBA House of the Year in 2017, against stiff competition. Nominations and awards as follows;

Come and see Phil describe the best of those, and also give his thoughts on the current Manchester Architectural scene, reflecting upon his Mancunian heritage.
As we have had to change venues for this first event from the Anthony Burgess Foundation to 53Two in the City, there will be a small charge for the lecture to recover some of the costs.
